Renovation Project
We are currently underway with our renovation project at the facility. The purpose of this work is to upgrade our facility to serve our communities into the future.
The renovations project includes:
- The purchase and install of new compactors because our existing compactors are in serious need of replacement.
- The purchase and install of a truck scale so we can can accurately weigh loads to prevent overweight fees and so we can fill our cans efficiently.
- The replacing and repairing site infrastructure including guardrails and retaining walls.
- The improvement of the site drainage and diversion of rainwater from our septic tank which we pay to pump on a regular basis.
Our goal with this project is to improve the work flow and better utilize a compact site. The facility will be completely operation during the construction. Thank you for your patience during construction as we upgrade the facility.
The project was designed by Hayley Ward Inc from Bangor, Maine and is being built by Blaine Casey Building Contractor, Inc from Augusta, Maine.
